Sizing Guide

Available in six sizes, the BioSkin Gladiator Brace will fit people of most leg shapes. To determine which of the sizes you need, please measure the circumference of your leg in the two places indicated below.

1. Around the centre of the patella (kneecap)
2. Around the thigh 18cm above the mid-patella

Take your measurements with the leg fully extended

Our Sizing Tips

• If the two measurements don't match up, we recommend choosing the larger size for more comfort during use
• BioSkin supports are designed to be compressive and will feel tight as a result; if you would prefer less tightness, please choose a larger size
• You can take your measurements without using a tape measure; simply use a string, then measure the string with a ruler
• Please take into account any joint swelling before buying, as this could mean you need a larger brace

How Does the BioSkin Gladiator Pull-On Brace Work?

The BioSkin Gladiator Knee Brace uses a rigid ROM hinge to protect key ligaments such as the ACL, PCL and MCL. Extension and flexion can be restricted between 0 - 90° to prevent knee from moving into risky positions that could cause further harm or damage. How Do I Set the Range of Motion?

The Range of Motion (ROM) can be adjusted to restrict the degree you can extend or flex your leg while wearing the brace. By doing this, you effectively limit the time your knee spends in "at risk" positions, which gives the knee the time and space it needs to heal. To adjust the ROM, follow these instructions:

1. Pull the fabric away from the hinge and lift the cover
2. Remove and apply the pins to the desired degree of flexion and extension
3. Close the hinge cover and repeat this process for the opposite hinge

Fitting Instructions 

With convenience in mind the BioSkin Gladiator Brace is made for easy application, just follow these three steps.

1. Stretch the top and bottom of the brace to help break in the material
2. Pull the brace up the leg so that the silicone ring is positioned around the kneecap
3. Finish by feeding the straps through the D-rings and tightening as desired

When Will My Order Be Dispatched?

For orders for products that are marked as "In Stock", we dispatch over 95% of orders on the same working day when the order is placed before 14:00. If an order is placed after 14:00, it may be sent on the same day but if not will be sent on the next working day.
